3-IN-ONE® Oil Telescoping Spout Packaging Wins Award at National Hardware Show

WD-40 Company (NASDAQ: WDFC) won an award for its unique new product delivery system for 3-IN-ONE® Oil at the National Hardware Show in Chicago held during International Hardware Week.

The award, sponsored by the American Hardware Manufacturing Association, was given for distinguished achievement in display merchandising and packaging.

The new delivery system features a modern adaptation of a nostalgic design and offers greater precision application of the trusted brand. Reminiscent of an old-time oil can, the plastic bottle comes with a five-inch extendable spout designed to get at hard-to-reach places.

The new delivery system was also honored in November of 1999 at the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week show in Las Vegas with an award for new packaging design. Hundreds of new products were judged based on five criteria: sizing of product, merchandising value, graphic design, originality and quality of construction as it applies to shelf life.

The new delivery system was also awarded an Automotive Aftermarket Global Design Award for packaging in May 2000.
